From InsurTech to technology group
In 2021, Leonidas Diamantopoulos co-founded TechIns with the objective of modernizing the insurance industry through technology. One of the company's first major products was LUX, a SaaS solution designed to help insurance and financial professionals present complex products more effectively. LUX achieved significant market adoption and became the foundation for TechIns' expansion into Cyprus and Bulgaria.
The experience gained from building and scaling specialized SaaS products gradually expanded TechIns beyond InsurTech. The company evolved into TechIns Group: an international technology ecosystem combining Artificial Intelligence, automation, SaaS, CRM, custom software and enterprise systems.
Today, the Group operates across Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania and Colombia, serves more than 2,400 SaaS users, is supported by 40+ professionals and has delivered more than 70 custom software projects.

Leonidas' professional background combines technology, sales and financial services. Before co-founding TechIns, he gained experience both in software development and in customer-facing commercial environments. This combination of technical and commercial experience shaped the approach that remains central to TechIns: understand the real operational problem first, then design the technology around the way the business actually works.
