Context
Jador is a hookah lounge with particularly complex inventory, due to tobaccos, flavors, consumables and a bar operating in parallel.
The problem
The consumption of tobaccos and materials could not be controlled accurately. Losses were hard to spot and the real cost per hookah was not clear. The storeroom operated as a black box.
The intervention
Smart Apothiki was adapted to the logic of a hookah lounge, recording the consumption of tobaccos, consumables and bar materials. A clear view was created per product and per shift.
The per-shift analysis revealed variances that had remained invisible under manual tracking.
The result
Variances were drastically reduced and costs became controllable. Management gained a view of actual, rather than theoretical, consumption.
What changed in operations
The hookah stopped being a product without cost control. The operation became disciplined and predictable.
