Argonstack, a company of the TechIns Group, took part in the "AI & Mental Health" event held in Ioannina, in a gathering that highlighted the relationship between technology and a particularly sensitive and human field. During the event, the challenges, the opportunities, and the social and economic benefits that can arise from harnessing Artificial Intelligence in mental health were brought to the fore.
The keynote speakers included Dr. Emmanouil Alexandrakis, Dimosthenis Tzimos as Managing Director of Argonstack, psychologist and NousGym founder Savvas Georgiadis, and psychologist Giorgos Bouras.
Technology as an enhancement, not a replacement
The central message of the event was that Artificial Intelligence is not coming to replace human contact, but to enhance the work of professionals. Especially in the mental health field, the personal connection and scientific ethics remain the decisive core of any meaningful intervention. Technology gains value when it operates in a supportive role, with respect for the human being and a clear, practical purpose.
The contribution of Argonstack and the TechIns Group
Argonstack's participation in this event expresses the steady direction of the TechIns Group: to support initiatives where innovation is tied to real needs and a measurable outcome. According to the article, the example of NousGym was also presented, with the TechIns Group providing technological support for the project's implementation from its very first steps.
For Argonstack, technology has substance when it turns into functional infrastructure, into better organization, into practical tools, and into capabilities that help people and organizations operate more effectively.
From theory to practice
A particular value of the event was the fact that it did not stop at theoretical positions. In the final part of the day, the participants were split into groups and took part in a practical workshop, where real-world examples of applying the technologies presented were analyzed. The audience thus had the chance to understand more concretely how AI can be integrated into the everyday practice of mental health.
Not about hype around AI, but about its serious application, with structure, precision, and a clear human orientation.
